The Motherland Art
Hello all! I am hoping while you are reading this blog that all is well and you and your loved ones are safe and healthy!
As for me, I’m trying to stay safe and adjust to this new way of living in quarantine! I mean, I’m use to being a homebody, but now I’m home-schooling my children, whom are 2 & 3 yrs old, and it has been ridiculously tiresome! When my kids were in preschool they were separated from each other...and now I know why! 🤦🏾♀️ They are constantly nonstop & on the go, destroying everything in their paths! It’s a lot of work, but I’m counting my blessings, trying to stay positive and praying A LOT!
Anywho, as for my art, I have been steadily working on what I can with what I have. I’ve always loved sketching out the continent of Africa, so for this project/collection I’ve decided to completely focus on just that!
Below are some snapshots of the process that went into this fun, iced-out Motherland piece ... to see the entire “making of” and a description of everything I used to make this piece, please checkout my YouTube, Like •Share• and Subscribe !
